The Cabsorb 500 series products are based on the natural zeolite mineral chabazite. The ZS500 products provide a high level of performance in cation exchange, adsorption and odor control applications at a cost competitive advantage over the more expensive synthetic zeolite products. The product has a large surface area, a high porosity and permeability, and a high rate of both adsorption and cation exchange. Key Benefits
ZS500H and ZC500H are the hydrated form and least expensive products useful in aquaculture and cation exchange applications where low levels of initial turbidity are acceptable. ZS500A and ZC500A are thermally activated and adsorb a minimum of 13 weight percent water at 40% RH. Both can be used in cation-exchange applications, desiccant applications and adsorption applications. ZS500AA is double activated and screened product that adsorbs a minimum of 16.5 weight percent water at 40% RH. ZS500RW is qualified as a cation exchange product for radioactive waste and heavy metal treatment of liquid effluents. ZS500KMnO4 is chabazite impregnated with 5% potassium permanganate by weight. It is designed to oxidize gaseous contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde and ethylene even at high relative humidities. Order Sample Products
