The Cabsorb 400 series products are based on the natural zeolite mineral clinoptilolite. The 400 series products form durable granules that do not degrade easily in high-attrition applications.
ZS403H is a highly crystalline, high purity clinoptilolite with sodium and potassium in exchangeable cation positions. It is a cost effective, high quality cation exchange product useful for treating high levels of ammonia in municipal waste and aquaculture. It is also qualified for recovering low levels of heavy metal and radioactive cations in applications where cost is a more critical factor than performance. ZK406H is a highly effective odor control product used in mitigating sulfur and ammonia based odors at landfills, feed lots and commercial chicken and hog farms. It can remediate strong odors in aqueous solution and has been qualified in personal care applications where the light white color and fine particle size of the -325 mesh product provide a competitive advantage. ZK406KMNO4 is clinoptilolite impregnated with 6% potassium permanganate by weight. It is designed to oxidize gaseous contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde and ethylene even at high relative humidities. ZK406SMZ is a clinoptilolite modified with HDTMA surfactant to enhance the zeolite's ability to pick up anions like hexavalent Cr, heavy metals like Hg and organic contaminants in ground water remediation treatments.
